Pen/Strep or no Pen/Strep

The Allen Institute protocols recommend growing the cells with 1% P/S, but that’s just a recommendation. We’re a production lab, so we’ve chosen to use P/S in our media, but if you don’t want to use it that should be completely fine, too!

I’ve been growing different Allen Cell Lines in mTeSR1 without P/S for half a year now without issues. So I can confirm that the cells grow fine without P/S
